Brett Seitman – Chief Executive Officer

Brett Seitman has the operational and start-up experience necessary to take IAAK from start-up to a successful and thriving business.  He previously served as the Director of Stores for Jeans Warehouse, where he was responsible for the overall operations of 18 stores and over 150 employees. Under his leadership, store sales volume increased by 20%. Prior to that, Seitman held several regional management positions with The El Portal Group, most recently responsible for overall operations of 18 stores in the Northeast, with revenues in excess of $20 million. Seitman was instrumental in the growth of BorSeit LLC, which owned and operated 12 Swatch Stores throughout the West Coast and Hawaii and 8 other multi-line watch stores and shop-in-shops.  He was responsible for all operations, leasing and construction, as well as the exit strategy that sold the Swatch stores back to Swatch in 1999. Seitman has done management consulting for clients including Bribor LLC and Brighton Collectibles under his company BAS Inc. Brett is a member of the Board of Directors for Hawaii Literacy. Mr. Seitman holds a B.A. in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Arizona.

 

Jim Cramer – V.P. Operations, Supplemental Education Services

Jim Cramer has more than 10 years of experience in retail management and has spent the last 3 years in the education arena. He most recently was a long-term substitute teacher at Kamehameha Schools, and prior to that was a teacher at Kaimuki Middle School. He worked as a store manager and filled in as the District Manager for the El Portal Group from 1998-2003. He has extensive experience in hiring, scheduling, interviewing, and store openings. Jim brings a strong background in teambuilding and training.  He is a graduate of Lahainaluna High School and received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Hawaii.

 

 

Jeanlin Bower – V.P. Community Affairs

Jeanlin Bower brings extensive experience in training and management along with her keen ability to recognize and capitalize on new opportunities.  After graduating from college, she co-founded, operated, and sold YC Moving Services, Inc, establishing it as Southern California’s premier moving service business specializing in the area’s growing senior community markets. In 1997-1998 Jeanlin was hired to help develop and implement corporate sponsorship and outreach programs for The Ounce of Prevention Fund, a Chicago non-profit agency providing early childhood and parenting programs for at-risk children and their families. She is a graduate of Punahou School and received a BS from Cornell University.

Danny McInerny – V.P. Development and Program Compliance

It’s All About Kids, LLC has promoted Danny McInerny to Director of Sales.  As the new Director of Sales, McInerny will develop and maintain a community outreach campaign to support marketing objectives and sell the It’s All About Kids’s instructional programs, CompassLearning™ software, and the performance based rewards program to schools across the state.  McInerny has been with It’s All About Kids, LLC since the company began in July of 2005.  Working on a part-time basis, McInerny was involved with program development and recruiting.  He is responsible for creating and conducting the training programs and professional development seminars for every one of the It’s All About Kids tutors.  He has an extensive background in the CompassLearning™ software and is a 16-year veteran in the field of education.  Danny has spent the last nine years, working full-time, teaching math and science at Punahou School.  He has played a key role in providing curriculum assessments for their summer program and helped rewrite the program to integrate the Language Arts, Social Studies, Math and Science curriculum into one unit.  He is a graduate of Punahou School and received a B.S. in Science from Loyola Marymount University.

 

Dayna Itano – Director of Administration

It’s All About Kids, LLC has promoted Dayna Itano to Director of Administration.  She will oversee all the internal administrative matters of the company including human resources, billing, rewards program, contracts and other clerical duties.  She will also assist with the management of the operations team which includes overseeing the company’s district managers. It’s All About Kids, LLC in June of 2005 as the Office Manager.  She served as the only administrative person on staff as the company was starting up their operations.  She was responsible for human resources, accounts payable and accounts receivable, payroll, as well as being an assistant to the company CEO and President, Brett Seitman.  Itano has a background in retail sales and management.   Her previous work experience includes working for Jeans Warehouse in the Operations and Merchandise Management Departments.  She assisted in managing 20 retail locations on Oahu and the neighbor islands, policy writing & implementation, new store openings and team building.  Itano is a graduate of Pearl City High School and earned a BBA in Marketing from the University of Hawaii.

 

Jeff Randall – IT Manager

Jeff Randall joins It’s All About Kids, LLC as their new IT Manager.  As the IT Manager, Randall will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing the use of new technology for It’s All About Kids, LLC to improve the delivery of services.  Randall will also serve as webmaster, updating and maintaining It’s All About Kids, LLC’s website; www.smartkidshawaii.com, and several Portal sites.  Randall comes to It’s All About Kids, LLC after more than seven years working in software and computer technology as it relates to the medical and biotech fields.  He has experience as a customer service representative with a start up company known as Arterial Vascular Engineering; a senior quality assurance technician, where he designed databases and wrote technical procedures and manuals for Medtronic/AneuRx; an IT manager at Hawaii Biotech; and a Senior Architect for a private Microsoft consulting firm, KSG Systems.  Randall received his AAS in Computer Science from Heald College and is also certified in Microsoft technologies as well as holding security certifications.

Susan Seitman – Parent/Student Services Coordinator

As Program Coordinator, Susan will head It’s All About Kids’ Parent Agreement Services. She is a life-long educator, whose experience includes teaching, managing a private learning center, and private tutoring. She has over 30 years of teaching experience and Teaching Certificates in 3 states.  Past positions include classroom teacher, teaching remedial reading, teaching homebound students, and extensive testing and counseling for the State of Arizona. Susan co-founded and developed a study skills program in Arizona and founded a private tutoring service in California.  Recently, she was a Director of Sylvan Learning Center and was instrumental in the start of Explore Knowledge Academy Public Charter School in Las Vegas.  Susan has recently been a Kindergarten Teacher at Salt Lake Elementary.  She received her M.A. in Education in counseling from Northern Arizona University.

It’s All About Kids employs over 120 coaches and captains to deliver the program to students. The successful “Captains” and “Coaches” have a culmination of the following qualities:
